Joint Education Program between South Essex College UK and CDTC China |

We had our first group of joint education program between South Essex College UK and CDTC China from September, 2017, with 25 students from the major of Interior design. According to our agreement, we intend to do a mutual cultivation, as well as research study. After finishing related teaching task, then the students from CDTC would get the diploma from both sides. December of 2017, the dean of Art department Ms. Abi and the International advisor Mr.Alan visit our college, carrying out a variety of activities and communication. In March and April 2018, we began our first interior design class. During the two weeks ‘class, South Essex College provide us detailed framework of Interior design under English Education background. Each unit will have 3 week teaching activities, we conduct drawing techniques, sketching skills, platemaking，sculpture art and so on. In English art education system, they focus a lot on “Design based on people”,every design is serving for individual person. If you could not feel comfortable or reasonable of a building, then it lose the original fact.

In our first session, the class was carried out by a little “toilet roll”. The expert from South Essex College said, we need to look at this world from different perspectives. The little toilet roll will inspire your idea of creativity and imagination. Our students are surprised to see the unbelievable world from the roll that we never really pay special attention.
