From April 23 to 29, local time, the college's president Sun Rui and director of the Industry-Education Exchange Office Tong Xiaohui visited Indonesia and Laos for exchanges and participated in the "Charming Sichuan" higher education exhibition and education exchange promotion conference, promoting the school's international exchanges and practical cooperation to a wider range, deeper level and more effective, and further enhancing the school's level of openness to the outside world and international exchanges and cooperation.
The event was hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and a total of 9 universities in the province participated. This visit is to implement the Ministry of Education's "Promoting the Joint Construction of the Belt and Road Education Action", implement the provincial party committee's open development strategy, and promote Sichuan's higher education cooperation with Indonesia and Laos. Further expand the international influence of Sichuan education, build a good "Study in Sichuan" brand, and expand the enrollment scale of international students in Southeast Asian countries in our province. The school seized the opportunity of this education exhibition to strengthen publicity, expand the school's international influence, broaden the enrollment channels for international students, and actively expand the school's cooperation with Indonesia and Laos in the field of education.
From April 22 to 26, the school went to Indonesia with a delegation to carry out educational cooperation and exchanges. It visited the Indonesian Ministry of Higher Education and Ministry of Science and Technology successively, and held in-depth consultations on topics such as university cultural promotion, international Chinese education, talent training, and teacher-student exchanges, and reached a number of cooperation consensuses. It visited the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and held working talks with Cultural Counselor Wang Siping to listen to opinions and suggestions on deepening Sichuan and Indonesian higher education cooperation, focusing on promoting the recruitment of Indonesian international students and the international promotion of Chinese. During the visit to the University of Indonesia, a special discussion was held with Professor Hamdi Muluk, Vice President of Research and Innovation of the university, to conduct project docking in the fields of teacher training, teacher-student exchanges, scientific research cooperation and joint training, and reached a cooperation intention.

On the afternoon of April 24, the "Charming Sichuan" Higher Education Exhibition was successfully held in Indonesia. The exhibition comprehensively introduced the situation of Sichuan's higher education through education promotion, study abroad consultation, and study tour introduction. As a key participating university, our school systematically displayed the characteristics of cultivating international students in China and the results of international education. At the event, Indonesian students consulted on issues of concern such as professional settings, curriculum systems, academic research, and living environment, and the school gave detailed answers on the spot. The participating students said that the comprehensive strength and humanistic charm of Sichuan universities made them fascinated and they were full of expectations for studying in Sichuan in the future.

From April 26 to 29, the school went to Laos with a delegation to promote foreign education exchanges. They visited the Sichuan Chamber of Commerce in Laos and New Hope Laos Co., Ltd. successively to meet the employment needs of industry enterprises and reach a joint talent training intention between the school and enterprises. They reached a series of cooperation with the National University of Laos to carry out the construction of "Chinese + Innovation and Entrepreneurship" courses. They investigated the Confucius Institute at the National University of Laos and agreed on the dispatch mechanism for Sichuan Chinese teachers and volunteers.

On the afternoon of April 28, at the China (Sichuan)-Laos Education and Trade Promotion and Exchange Conference, our school participated in the "Charming Sichuan" Education Exhibition (Laos Station), and more than 300 Lao high school students attended the event. At the promotion meeting, the school signed an agreement with the Laos-China Friendship School to jointly build the Leizu College, and held a plaque awarding ceremony.

At the education exhibition, the school's distinctive characteristics and long history of running schools deeply attracted local students to come for consultation.
