To thoroughly implement the Education Powerhouse Construction Plan (2024–2035) and strengthen the development of innovative teaching teams, the third cohort of the National “Craftsmen’s Masters” Overseas Training Program departed for Germany on October 26, 2025, for a 21-day specialized training program. Organized by the Department of Teachers Affairs of the Ministry of Education and the China Education Association for International Exchange, the training focused on next-generation information technologies. Sun Xin, a faculty member from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering of our college, participated in the program and successfully completed all assigned tasks.

Through systematic theoretical study, immersive workshop practice, targeted institutional visits, and frequent discussions and reflections, the training team gained an in-depth understanding of Germany’s dual system of vocational education and its development and innovation under modern educational concepts. Participants developed a comprehensive grasp of the full process of German vocational education—from national legislation and industry standard-setting to curriculum development and implementation. They also explored the integrated application of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence in both educational and industrial settings, further deepening their understanding of the competency-oriented and industry-driven philosophy of vocational education.

During the training, our teacher gained a profound appreciation for the strategic vision behind China’s initiative to send vocational educators abroad, recognizing the far-reaching significance of cultivating globally aware and professionally competent teachers in the new era.
Moving forward, the participating teacher will focus on applying the training results in practice, integrating advanced concepts and practical methodologies with local teaching needs, and actively contributing to the high-quality development of the school. The outcomes-sharing mechanism will continue to be strengthened to drive improvements in overall program quality and talent cultivation. Through practical action and professional dedication, the goal is to cultivate high-level technical and skilled talents to support the high-quality development of Sichuan’s electronic information industry, providing sustained momentum for regional industrial upgrading and the enhancement of vocational education.
