School of Electrical Engineering
General Introduction
School of Electrical Engineering was established in 1996. There are 59 teachers in the school, including 2 professors, 24 associate professors and senior engineers, 4 of them have doctoral degree, 60% of all the lecturers hold master’s degrees. The number of teachers with both teaching and working experience accounts for over 85%. We also invite 5 foreign professors and experts as our consultants, among who American professor Zhang Fengman awards “Sichuan Outstanding Foreign Teachers” for 6 times. Electrical automation technology teaching team once got the provincial awards. More than 1100 students are studying 7 specialties, which are Electrical Automation Technology, Building Electrical Engineering Technology, Application of Electronic Technology, Automotive Electronics Technology, Software Testing Technology, Computer Multimedia Technology, and Electronic Commerce.
Our aim is to nurture high-quality applied talents. Therefore, we emphasize the integration of teaching and hand-on doing and focus on capacity-building. The School has more than 20 laboratories of electronic, electric and computer training rooms, which can provide students with excellent practicing and training environment. We are also in close cooperation with a number of well-known enterprises, such as FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Sharp Electronics, etc. In recent years, our students are able to won a number of national and provincial awards in a variety of professional competitions. Our graduates also have a good reputation for highly specialized knowledge and strong practical ability

Electrical automation technology is multi-discipline major which covers high voltage and low voltage, computer science and electrical control technology. We are dedicated to foster professionals of automatic control system who has the outstanding professional quality, practical ability and theoretical basis.
